Independent Living Features & Services
- Meals are served daily in a central dining room by Prairie Village staff. Additional meals are available at a nominal cost with advance notice.
- An emergency call system is included in your bedrooms and bathrooms. It will be monitored by Prairie Village staff 24 hours each day.
- Housekeeping (which includes vacuuming of carpets and cleaning of kitchen and bathroom floors) is included twice each month.
- Laundry service for your sheets, pillow cases and towels are done with Housekeeping. Includes pick-up and delivery. Coin-operated washers and dryers are available for your personal use. Each apartment has hook-ups for a stack washer and dryer.
- All utilities, except telephone and cable TV, are included in your monthly rate. Maintenance, including appliances, heating and cooling systems, landscaping, snow removal, trash collection and pest control are also included.
- All apartments include carpet, coordinated vinyl flooring in kitchen and bathrooms, drapes, kitchen appliances, individually controlled heating and air-conditioning, smoke alarms and a sprinkler system for fire protection.
- Scheduled shopping and outings in Prairie Village’s bus.
- Additional services available at additional cost include guest meals, meals on room trays for short-term illnesses, beauty/barber shop services, an attached garage, special events, activities and travel programs, use of common areas for parties or special events.
